Technical Services and R&D Engineer

We are recruiting for a self-motivated and versatile Technical Services and R&D Engineer to join our growing team in New Zealand. The role incorporates composite mechanical testing, product development, and the provision of general technical advice to both internal and external customers.

The successful applicant will be a pro-active member of a busy team that undertakes numerous projects at any one time, so a ‘can-do’ and hands-on attitude is essential.

A Bachelor degree (or higher) in Engineering, specialising in Mechanical or Structural Engineering, Composite Materials or Naval Architecture, is required, along with a working knowledge of composite materials analysis and a variety of composite construction methods. Knowledge of or experience in boat design, detailing, construction and operation would be a significant advantage.
